POWER OF TESTIMONY

In Christians life testimony is a way of sharing the gospel with others by explaining your personal experience. It is an example of how God changes lives. Testimony is like giving back what He has given you by letting people see what He has done. To glorify God and give thanks for His mercy is one way is testimonial way. It clears our mind that God is involved to the peoples life, also it helps to increase the faith.

Psalms 66:16 Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what He has done for my soul.

Bible tells us that the mercy and glory of God, and Bible itself is the testimony. Every person is blessed and has their own testimony and Gospel is more effective than the words. When we preach the Gospel and use the words than there is nothing more powerful than a miracle of testimony. The Bible mentions the miracle and Gospel gives testimonies and those miracle increase our faith. 

Some miracles mentioned in the Old Testament are:

1. Moses' rod changed into a serpent. (Exodus 4:3-4,30)
2. River turned to blood. ( Exodus 7:20-25)

3. Lion slain by Samson ( Judges 14:5-6)

Some Miracles mention in the New Testament are:

1. Water made in wine in Cana (John 2:6-11)
2. Christ passes unseen through crowd in Nazareth (Luke 4:28-30)
3. Peter's mother-in-law healed in Capernaum (Matthew 8:14-17)

4. Widow's son raised in Nain (Luke 7:11-17)

These were some of the miracle and there are many more. From these miracles crowds were blessed and it took for many to increase their faith and their testimonies helped us in this modern world to keep faith in Christ.

Whatever happens in our lives is through the will of God. Sometimes we may face difficult situations but that doesn't mean that our faith or believe is weak. It means we need to be patience and trust in the Lord for the great miracle to happen, so the powerful testimony can take place.

Our small to small testimony can bring the big change in some others life which will help to build their faith stronger.

We should pray for the healing not only physically or mentally but also for the soul of ourselves and even for others. Pray even if you don't need healing personally, but you know someone who does, and they need your prayer of faith, for that one miracle that will create a powerful testimony. 

Let me share one of my small testimony that took place recently.

I am a tutor and teach students various subjects. One day the coaching session had just completed and students were going back to their homes. That time one of my last batch student came home and was fully tensed up. My mother asked him what happened, he told he wanna talk to me. He asked whether I had pay-tm account  I told I do have but what's the matter. That time he had to send the money urgently to his friend but I told I don't have sufficient money in my account. I thought he have money so I told him that tomorrow we will go bank and deposit the amount than he told he don't have whole amount and than I was now what to do due to pandemic period even I didn't have money. He was upset and me to please pray for me, he is  Hindu, but he had faith in prayer. I prayed for him and as soon as he stepped out from the house his father called him. Even I was worried that why this little guy need this big amount but next day he visited again and was smile in his face and than he told me that as soon as he went from here his father called him and asked his problem that time he told all his matter to his father and his father gave him the amount that he required. He told his mother that I had prayed for him and his mother told him to go and thank your teacher. I told it was not me who solved your problem it was Our Lord who hears all the prayer.

This time his faith was towards the Lord and it brought to a miracle in his life. Hope this small testimony can bring more faith in all of us and may we become the way for other people. Our prayer can create a powerful testimonies and the power of testimonies can change someone's life.
